This hand hewn, ax sawn, solid Douglas fir timber has tons of character. It is on the shorter side, but would fit well in a small space as a mantel, or a chunky shelf. It has a 4″ notch on one end that can stay for added “rustic-ness”, or we can cut it off. This would look great in a rustic living room, or over a small bedroom fireplace.
